The Spring Break Thing

~~~~ Busy
What a day. Actually, it really wasn't that bad but I just feel as if it was since I get to go home in 3 days. 3 days. Wow. I mean, I know I've been here for ages and ages (and believe me, it's felt like ages and ages) but at the same time it hasn't felt like ages and ages. I feel as if I've just been home. I have a very warped sense of time and it's really come out here at school.
Finally got my Botany debate articles read. Seriously, I think drilling in ANWR is the worst idea in the world. How am I suppose to argue for it? I thought this debate thing would be a breeze after my experience but all the arguments I've read are complete and utter bullshit. I'm gonna feel like such an ass getting up there to say the things I have to say. Hopefully I won't have to say much and I'll let the rest of my group do the talking. We're meeting at King tomorrow to organize our thoughts. Also known as I'll tell them what I've read and then I'll write the intro and everyone else will sit around and look supportive. Honestly, the IQ of that class is less than a wet noodle.
I have 11 assignments I need to get done before break. Once more, there's not a snow ball's chance in hell I'm doing homework while I'm at home. Seriously, don't count on it! If I can get 6 things done tomorrow and 5 on Thursday I should be good to go. Probably not practical but I'm sure as hell gonna try. Oh I hope so.
My shirt is washed and I'm ready. My Botany professor told us today that if anyone comes to class drunk he has to call the police. So much for the studying drunk + test taking drunk = good scores. Well, at least I know I have nothing to worry about :)
So far the places I'm interested in working at over summer are:
Green Leaf
Wooster Book Co.
Wild Ginger
Bath & Body Works
Long Horn
Muddy Waters*
News and Brews*
*If I Must
That seems like a pretty good list, right? Note how the Wooster Brush Company is NOT on that list.
Point made.
